The Pirate Boat
I recently purchased five Oak Whiskey Barrels. I needed more ballast at front of Boat. And it did drop the front two Inches needs another two to go. But will deal with that in future, when I have time There’s some Skeletons coming soon, some rigging may knot myself. Next will be the Stern to fit out. I filled the Barrels in the Bow with water. When drilling the top a lovely smell of Bourbon Came out along with some pressure. The Skeletons will be sitting on top one each side when finished.
Whiskey Barrels.
I have also been busy fitting the Galley. Its quite large space. So two large L-Shape layouts. Oak Tops and In-frame Oak Cabinet Doors. Fitted onto frames. As got a Job Lot of Howdens In-frame Doors for £200. I will eventually build a Bar Surround over one part. Pirates need their Spirits !

Flooring will be next and fitting a Boatman Stove which I will order in Month. Nothing is level on Boat so even for Builder like myself its fun and games. But the finishing will make every look great, hopefully ! Plus its the way I want my Boat to look. And yes I”m messy when working. Chaos is my middle name.
The Pirate Dog
The Pirate Dog who’s 14 seems to like living on the Boat and watched it change from a Blank Canvas to something in a few Months which will be completed. If he could speak I’m sure he would have his own plans for The Pirate Boat.
