Lee Sans Self Heavy Duty Pump Out
I have been back at Work after a long break. I have taken The Pirate Dog to the Vets who have given the old chap a clean bill of health. I’ve been taking him for a good few walks down the local Towpath, which he seems to love. I bumped into a chum I met at Salthouse Docks passing by last weekend was nice to go for a few pints with him. And several Boaters I met at Litherland CRT Services when I had to cut my Journey short earlier this month. So was invited for a Tea on their Narrowboat. I find Canal Folk very friendly, talkative in most cases.

To save me rushing about at the last minute I bought a Heavy Duty LeeSans Manual Self Pump out. Which I tried out today and worked first time. I have a large Waste Tank situated in my Bedroom which needs emptying out once a Month. And decided it would be easier and more convenient especially due to my busy schedule to have a DIY solution of my own. I worked out it cost me £450 but 12 Pump outs a year would cost me between £280to £380 a year so it will pay for itself by summer next year easily.
CRT Contractor Boats
Some welcome Visitors appeared Today. A Canal Tug with a 3 Cylinder Lister Engine and a Dredging Boat/Digger. The Little Tug Boat was quite interesting to see. I’m sure they are a lot simpler to move about the Canal network. But I would not want to give The Pirate Boat as hooked on it.
